Take a virtual tour of our new office – now open for business
24th June 2021
It’s been a long time coming, but we’re almost back at full capacity with staff working at our newly refurbished and extended head office. We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors in person very soon but in the meantime here’s the lowdown on our new facilities.
It’s well-known that washrooms can be often used as a marker to judge a building, but even more so for us! We knew that our new office would act need to as a showroom to shine a spotlight on our work as well as being a pleasant workplace for our staff. With this in mind our design team created two different bespoke washrooms which complement each other and tie in with the reception and other common areas designed and fitted out by our partner company, Cre8 Joinery Solutions.
One washroom area features our full height Alto FENIX toilet cubicles, which are faced in Fenix NTM laminate in a deep blue colour. Not only does it give a super matt finish which is soft to the touch, but it is also an exceptionally high-performance material. We manufactured the vanity units from natural stone in a light grey colour with inset ceramic wash basins.
For the second washroom we again installed a full height, floor to ceiling toilet cubicle from our Alto product range – this time, the Alto Laminate cubicle. The light woodgrain laminate finish provides the perfect contrast to the washroom’s black ironmongery including the locks, handles and taps. The vanity units were manufactured in white solid surface Corian with countertop ceramic basins, wall-mounted taps and laminate under panels in the same light woodgrain as the toilet cubicles.
Both washroom areas also feature our Tego hinged mirror storage unit above the vanities. These offer a compact washroom storage solution for washroom essentials, concealed neatly behind a mirror which in this case also features etched icons to show where soap and paper hand towels are located underneath. A final bespoke design detail is the signage on each washroom door – which we designed and printed in house on our 3D printer.
The Cre8 team installed the reception area, flexible workspaces, our new board room, tea and coffee areas and a staff kitchen – find out more about our new office design by Cre8 here.
One of the main reasons behind our office refurb was to create more space for the team as we continue to grow rapidly as a business. But the benefit of increasing our workspace also meant that we were able to easily implement social distancing measures to make sure staff working in the office felt completely safe.
