Talking men’s health in the men’s room
Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide are some of the biggest health issues faced by men in the UK but there’s still a reluctance to talk about it – especially within the construction industry.
This is why we’ve launched our ‘In the Men’s Room’ campaign. The aim is to encourage people to talk about men’s health issues and support the great work of the Movember Foundation at the same time.
Throughout November, we’ll be running a men’s health awareness campaign on our social media channels. We’ve designed a series of eye-catching graphics to encourage men to talk about mental health and provide information on prostate and testicular cancers. Look out for them on Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
We’d love you to share these with your networks to help us spread the word as far and wide as possible and break the taboo. Don’t forget you can get involved too by using the #InTheMensRoom hashtag.
Our campaign goal is to raise £1,000 for global men’s health charity the Movember Foundation.

Nuclear Fallout 2017 – Saturday 11th November
Seven of our toughest colleagues will be battling through a challenging 7km course complete with more than 50 natural and man-made obstacles and plenty of mud! As a company we’re covering cost of the entry for the team and will be right behind them on the day, cheering them all on!
Sweet and Savoury Day – Friday 17th November
We will be holding a Sweet and Savoury Day at our factory and head office here in Essex on Friday 17th November. If you’re in the area, why not pop in to meet the team, have a bite to eat and do your bit for charity at the same time!
