We’ve just secured three new high profile contracts – two due to get underway in the next few weeks and the third early next year.

Trio of new contracts Oct 2017

We’re working on a project to deliver new washrooms as part of a refurbishment project managed by Box Architects for an office building on Sheldon Square in Paddington, which is fully let to Visa Europe. The new male and female washrooms, which will be the same design on all 11 floors of the building, will feature our highly engineered Marcato toilet cubicles, solid grade laminate duct panel system as well as Corian trough-style vanity units.

The project will also involve us designing and manufacturing special bespoke Corian planters for all the male WC areas. The bespoke planters, which demonstrate the versatility of Corian, will be filled with real plants to add to the contemporary style created for the new washrooms.

In just a few weeks’ time, we’ll commence work at an office building on Victoria Embankment, close to Blackfriars Bridge in London. Following our previous install in the building four years ago, the basement areas are now being upgraded to the same specification which includes bronze acid etched glass and granite.

The washrooms in the basement will also feature concealed consumable units, with hand soap and paper towel dispensers inset within the mirrors with bronze acid etched glass surrounds to complement the duct panelling. Our full height Alto laminate toilet cubicles will be finished in a pumice stone colour to complement the floor tiling and vanity units.

Rounding up the trio, we’ve secured work on a prestigious project for global research-based biopharmaceutical company, AstraZeneca. The new £500 million building, designed by BDP architects is intended to bring together the company’s existing eight local sites into one purpose-built space within Cambridge’s biomedical campus. As well as being the company’s new UK corporate headquarters it will also house its global research and development centre. Work on the new building began in 2015 with its 2,000 staff due to move in during 2018.

The project will involve us designing, manufacturing and installing our Sempre toilet cubicles in the washrooms on five levels; mezzanine, basement, ground floor, first floor and second floor. We’re also creating staff shower and changing facilities in the basement which will feature our Marcato shower cubicles as well as bespoke lockers and benching. We’re due to begin work on site in January next year.
