Simplicity by Design
14th February 2019
When it comes to washroom design sometimes keeping things simple works wonders.
We love creating luxury washrooms and changing areas, using a mix of high end materials and bespoke finishing touches that you might not expect to see in a washroom area. But creating an exceptional washroom space doesn’t need to cost the earth. A simpler approach can be equally effective, provided the space is carefully considered and the design well executed.
Our ‘Simplicity by Design’ social media campaign, which you’ll soon start to see across our social media channels this year, has been created to celebrate washrooms which stand out thanks to a deliberately simple design. When it comes to such washroom spaces, less is definitely more and we think the results are well worth sharing.
While we pride ourselves on our bespoke design offering, we also provide a full range of standard washroom products to suit all project styles and requirements. Our Marcato toilet, shower and changing cubicle doors for example, have been designed with unfussy, clean lines to keep washroom areas minimalist and structured. When paired with a limited colour scheme as well as elegantly simple accessories the result is minimal yet striking.
We recently completed an office refurbishment project at Hoxton Square in London which embodies ‘simplicity by design’. Here we manufactured our Aria toilet cubicles in Formica high pressure laminate using Diamond Black for the doors and Fog grey for the pilasters and cubicle division panels. The matt black pedestal legs and stainless steel d line accessories complete the design to create a sleek fuss-free finish. Meanwhile for a recently-completed project on Gracechurch Street, an all-white colour scheme was used for our full height Marcato toilet cubicle doors and Corian vanity units.
Our full range of standard washroom products including toilet, shower and changing cubicles can all be tailored to suit your project, so you can select from a huge range of different colours and finishes to create the space you want.
What ‘Simplicity by Design’ highlights is that simple, well-designed washroom spaces can be just as impactful on visitors.
