Creating sustainable washroom spaces

8th September 2022

As sustainability increasingly becomes a key consideration for our clients, we’re proud to be able to work to all major environmental accreditations on projects where this is a requirement.

We’re committed to our environmental responsibilities as a manufacturer and installer and are always looking at ways that we can improve and reduce our impact on the environment, whether that’s through our methods or the materials we use, for example working with FSC® certified timber where required as well as materials manufactured using recycled products.

Industry recognised accreditations including WELL, LEED, SKA, BREEAM and PEFC between them provide the benchmark and standard for non-domestic fit-outs to give our clients peace of mind that we can meet a project’s sustainability targets. As the ratings are awarded to projects as a whole, it’s vital that every link in the supply chain plays its part in achieving these standards and we’re proud to be able to work within the parameters required.

Here are just a few examples of our recent projects with excellent sustainability scores:

This project at Waltham Forest Town Hall has been awarded BREEAM

This work for Take Two, London is officially LEED Gold accredited

We’re also currently in the process of completing two other projects with both being completed using FSC materials and low VOC lacquers.

We understand the importance of sustainability and the role we all need to play to improve the environmental impact and legacy of each project we work on. The fact that we handle every aspect of our projects in house means we can consider sustainability implications at all stages of a project, from the initial design and material specification to manufacture, delivery, installation and even a product’s projected lifecycle.
