New staff shower facilities and reception area provide best in class at Ealing Gateway, London

Working together with our partner company, Cre8 Joinery Solutions, we delivered new staff shower facilities and a reception area as part of this large-scale refurbishment which is designed to set the benchmark for the Ealing office market.

The six-storey Ealing Gateway office building has been fully refurbished and remodelled to bring the interior up to date. As part of the project we developed the new staff shower and changing areas to provide best in class end of journey facilities – allowing it to easily compete with the best central London office buildings.

The new staff shower facilities are a key part of the refreshed Ealing Gateway design. We manufactured and installed bespoke vanity units and make-up counters using solid surface Corian in the ‘Linen’ finish. The neutral cream colour and speckled pattern, which runs all the way through, give the appearance of natural stone.

We finished the vanity units with inset white basins and black finish ironmongery for contrast as well as integrated waste bins to keep the washroom areas clean, tidy and clutter free. The black ironmongery matches the dark tile grouting behind to bring the design together.

The new lockers, which we manufactured using white MDF carcasses and doors with black laminate plinths and digital locks, provide a secure storage solution for staff.

We also delivered some additional refurbishment works in the other washroom areas, such as replacing vanity tops, as a way to breathe new life into these spaces without a complete overhaul of the washrooms for a more sustainable and cost-effective solution for the client.

Elsewhere our joinery partner, Cre8 Joinery Solutions created the new reception area and delivered various other bespoke joinery items as part of the project. The team installed acoustic wall panels to soften the noise in the entrance around the reception area and in the main atrium space. The team also manufactured the bespoke reception desk using MDF for the side panels and fronts which were spray-painted in the off-white ‘Slaked Lime Dark’ paint from the Little Greene paint company and finished with a unique Forbo insert. The desk was then faced with solid surface Corian in the same ‘Linen’ colour used throughout the shower and washroom areas.
