Natural stones such as granite, limestone & slate offer something other surfaces cannot - originality. Coming straight out of the ground cut then polished, no two pieces will ever be the same providing the defining touch of luxury to any washroom installation.
edge / profile options
Natural stones can be built up along exposed edges to form an apron detail concealing the substrate and creating a slab feel to the vanity unit. If required front edges can be machined into bullnose profiles or with simple birds mouth jointing details.

Vanity tops may be supported on an internal timber framework faced with access under panels in a choice of complementary materials such as HPL & real wood veneer
Alternatively, especially with 30mm thick surfacing the tops can be supported on stainless steel brackets.
applications
Due to their porosity especially limestone, natural stones will need to be occasionally resealed to prevent staining by certain chemicals. This is a small yet well worth inconvenience to suffer to have such a unique material in your washroom.
